Sure, you can measure each piece of pipe then cut, drill or bend one at a time. But now there are three better, faster and easier ways. You see, over the years I've developed three useful home-production tools... one for bending... one for cutting... one for drilling. And boy, do they ever work like a million bucks! Take a look at how each tool can help you. PVC Jig #1: Bend Pipe Now you can get the same radius each time you bend pipe for duplicate projects. For example, to create the same bend for curved arms of a chair similar to the above photo. The easy-to-build Bending
Jig I've come up with utilizes a simple peg system. With this handy tool, you can bend pipe all day long to your heart's content... very helpful in creating all kinds of interesting PVC projects. I use it all the time. And you will, too. Plus, you'll get this new Bonus Plan free of extra charge... It's a heavy-duty Bending Jig using a similar peg system and works on the same principle, but it's bigger and badder. The jig will cost a bit more to make and will take more time. But now that I've been using this "new & improved" version, I think it's well worth it. I find the jig more accurate and easier to use. The downside, however, is... it's heavy. PVC Jig #2: Cut Pipe How would you feel if you cut several of the same lengths of pipe and discovered that many were just a smidgen too short, or a bit long? And your project ends up a bit cockeyed. Well, you're not alone. Too often, it happens to all of us. So I decided to do something about it. I solved the problem with my new, precision Cutting Jig. And now you can assemble the device for practically nothing. I made mine with scrap lumber, a couple of nuts & bolts and a handful of screws. It, too, takes only a couple of hours to put together. Maybe less. Then when you need, say, ten pieces of 12-inch pipe, all you do is measure for the first length, lay the pipe onto the tool and cut 'em all lickety-split with your power miter saw. And you'll get the exact same length each and every time. Believe me, this is a super time-saver. As well as "insurance" that your next project will look great. It's truly a helpful addition to your PVC tool arsenal. Plus you'll get this Bonus Plan for a... Lengthwise Cutting Jig There are times when you want to cut a piece of PVC pipe in half lengthwise. It’s not so easy to do without proper support and a way to hold the pipe so you can accurately measure and then get straight, accurate cuts. The low-cost, adjustable jig I created is the answer. With it, you can cut most any diameter, from half-inch on up, as well as any length of pipe. PVC Jig #3: Drill Pipe I've designed a useful home-production Drilling Jig that you attach to a small, inexpensive table-top drill press. And it's really simple to use. Just lay the pipe on the unique sled I devised, clamp it and drill. Move the sled to the next "stop" and drill again. Keep going until you're done. All the holes will be in line just like they're supposed to be. Pretty slick. In addition, part of the device helps keep the uncut piece of PVC pipe from rolling off onto the floor. Now you can drill evenly-spaced holes in one length of PVC pipe or a thousand. For instance, to drill holes and install the decorative piping like you see in the above chair. Or to drill holes for rungs in a chair, or whatever. Best of all, the jig is downright cheap to make. And it's sure to become an indispensable aid in your workshop, as it has in mine. So if you want to bend, cut and drill PVC pipe faster, easier, more accurately plus save yourself time & money, here's...
